Completely renovated in 2014, Molly Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage originally built in the 1820’s.
It offers contemporary yet cosy accommodation for up to 4 persons. Decorated and appointed to a high standard, the stylish eclectic mix of furniture will make your stay a delightful experience.
The living room features a cast iron wood burning stove set into the original fireplace opening with a bespoke stone surround created by a local stone mason.
The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, built in fridge, microwave and washing machine. There is a stable door leading to the garden.
The main bedroom has a King size (5ft) divan bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers while the small 2nd bedroom has a double (4ft 6in) bed and chest of drawers.
There is a enclosed lawned rear garden with a seating area to the left of the shared garden pathway, a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or read a book. We have a secure garden shed for you to store bikes or equipment.
The cottage is fully central heated and double glazed.
The shower room, which is located downstairs, has a large boiler-supplied shower, wash basin, loo and chrome towel radiator.
As the owners of Molly Cottage we love to spend time here ourselves and so we ensure the highest standards of accommodation within a cosy and characterful cottage.
There is tea, coffee and milk for your arrival and, during the colder months, the heating will be on, to ensure a warm welcome.
Not suitable for the very elderly or infirm.
Regretfully we are not suitable for persons with limited mobility as there are 12 steps to the upstairs bedrooms and the bathroom is located on the ground floor. Also there are 8 steps up to the cottage garden and small children would need to be supervised at all times. I’m more than happy to discuss access and suitability issues before you book so feel free to give me a call.
